D-Day battlefield sites in Normandy

In the British sector of Longues-sur-Mer
German gun battery from the sky

Every day since the beginning of July and all the way through until September 1st 2017.
One of the major construction sites of the “Altantic Wall” (propaganda name), the
coast defensive German gun battery of Longues-sur-Mer
has a command post and 4 gun battery bunkers.

Overlooking cliffs faced towards the channel,
this place played a strategic important role during

the June 6th D-Day landings.
This gun battery has the original guns still inside !
