If you’re into all things related to the paratroopers, this tour’s for you !

We will focus in the area of D-Day actions of the Airborne on June 6th 1944

Beginning with Sainte Mere Eglise and the objective of taking the town. Actions of the 82nd “All American” west of the RN 13, and 101st “Screaming Eagles” east of it that went from Paris to Cherbourg.

Visit places of interest where thanks to individual actions of one , two or a handful of soldiers who did more than their part, in the success of D-Day.

Option 1* - Born during the war, she tells her story

For American groups visiting lower Normandy with special interest in what took place in 1944 for some locals people.
  • Option 1* Presentation by a "War Baby" 20 to 30 minutes in the morning before the tour, at your place of stay or in your bus.(if it's a bus only) € 50 in Bayeux, a little more if outside of Bayeux.

Option 2* - Find out about the American GI's favorite beverage in Normandy

  • Option 2* Before the tour ends Visit of a small family owned Calvados and cider distillery production
    Tasting and recommendation about products. ( € 10 per person to be paid on site to one of the family members )

With me rest assured that I have FULL transportation licence accreditations and ALL insurances required by French authorities.

Stickers (purple or red) must be on wind shield bottom left hand side of car/van driven by your chauffeur guide.
